Our Origins

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the CPC Productions website.

It doesn’t seem all that long ago that I was causing trouble in my neigh however, upon reflection, more than 25 years have transpired since CPC productions first commenced business.

People often ask me, "What inspired you to start CPC?" To answer this question, experiencing ‘sub standard sound’ in a number of church facilities across South East Queensland first alerted me to the need to provide the highest quality possible.

I considered applying for a position with some of the existing companies, however, coming from a family of business owners I believed that I would not be happy working for someone else as I may not be able to achieve the result that I wanted to.

Also being a musician with a passion high quality sound, I decided to commence CPC and the rest is history.

From the very beginning it was my intention to build CPC upon a solid footing. We replaced the overused ‘one size fits all’ approach in the industry with a ‘treat every client as an individual’ philosophy and focused our attention on providing the best solution for our clients.

We soon added a hire department to meet the growing demands of our customer base. This was followed by the inclusion of a lighting division. A few years later I discovered that amidst the success the company had achieved we were the proud owners (and continue to be) of the largest collection of Neumann microphones and Altec Lansing loud speakers in the Southern Hemisphere!

Today CPC Productions is a leading force in the Production arena. We have been privileged to serve and support some of the worlds' very best entertainers and performers and our reputation has spread to the international stage.

The Future

Whilst I am proud of our achievements to date, I am more excited about what the future has in store for CPC Productions. We have a very clear vision and precise goals for the future. Over the coming years we will continue to invest heavily into the development of our most precious resource ... our staff. We have plans in place to acquire the latest technology to ensure that we remain on the cutting-edge in all areas of operation and as we have now outgrown our existing premises, we are in the throes of designing a new world-class CPC Productions Head Quarters.
